Late last year budding dancehall artist/producer Don Sniper made his mark on the local music scene with his hard hitting single titled How Many, which is quite popular in the dancehalls especially among female fans. He is currently getting ready to unleash another hot new single titled No Body Business on his sizzling new Jamaica Live Soca rhythm. This song is already creating quite a buzz on the airwaves as well as in the dancehall and seems destined to be a favorite for Carnival. Other artists featured on the Jamaica Live Soca rhythm includes Cobra with Get Mad and Wine, Captain Barkey and Gyptian with She Want It All Night, Macka Diamond and Sirrian Wine Up Pon Mi, Pampute with Get up Stand Up and Delly Ranks with Wine Up & Down.
The talented singjay said that he did this project to show his versatility both as an artist and a producer and also to tap into other markets. He says that while most artist are comfortable doing one genre of music he is a person who wants express his creativity in all possible genres of music such as dancehall, reggae, soca, R & B and hip hop.
"As an artist you have to be creative to get ahead in the music biz and I am very creative, this project is just the tip of the iceberg where my creativity is concerned. Throughout this year I will be dropping several projects that will feature a variety musical styles and flavors for the people," said Don Sniper.
Don Sniper is booked to appear on the annual New York Miami Lin Up Spring Break stage show which takes place on Saturday the 13th of March at Long Bay Beach Park in Negril and the annual HYPE 2K10 stage show which will be held at the Independence Park, Black River on Saturday April 3rd.
