Tiana's Message for Chris Brown

Pen2Paper Creative Concept

Tiana-chris-brown-rihanna-jamaican-female.jpgMedia House Production recording artist Tiana is the latest addition to the growing number of budding female dancehall reggae artists. She embodies a seemingly shy yet confident persona. Tiana's first single, "I Won't", is produced by Media House Production and comes in the wake of events surrounding R&B's hit couple Rihanna and Chris Brown's domestic violence incident.

In the catchy tune, Tiana tackles the plight of domestic violence, citing the similar situations of other women. With her vocal ability, she aptly reminds us that violence against women is unconscionable and women have been afflicted for too long with domestic violence.

"I Won't" is not only her first single, but also her first attempt at recording in a professional studio. The track is receiving rave reviews from fans, with comments flooding her MySpace page as listeners react to the message of the song.

I Wont - Tiana

Bitten by the music bug, Tiana has already completed her second single called "You Want Me", a collaboration with one of Jamaica's newest stars, Delus, and is in the process of completing her third single.

"I Won't" is definitely a shot to watch and is set to make positive strides across borders, as an anthem for women everywhere.

What's with the negativity? The rare moment when a young female artist decides to stand up for women's rights, why not embrace it? Even if it rides the waves of the Rihanna-Chris Brown fiasco. Women are still getting beat up by their men, and those women need as much support as they can get.

When you've been beaten by your husband or boyfriend, then you'll know what it feels like or what you would do or need at that point. But until then, what's injecting inaccurate recommendations for what battered women need gonna do lol?

By the way, the same you don't know what happened between C.B & R. is the same way you don't know if Tiana's trying to profit from their situation. To assume addawise would be hypocrisy, no?

if women would stop acting so ditsey then man would never hit women.......why can't they be like us be tomboy's.yeah! if seen them diserve it but thats the highest situations and not little boys like chris brown and ditsey rihanna who is very easy!!...hehe there are things that diserve that kind of treatment which is a temporary solution to the problem and causes more tention....your right tiana this isen't slavery but slavery is the root cause of our problems on the continent but jamaica is the holy land and those thing should not happen in my land.........

Posted by kavelle | May 1, 2009 10:50 PM

hey girl, ur music tuff, it hot, it mad it gone a road. Love the lyrics message to all the women who a fool themself. No chris brown round hear. a we say music.

Your video hot we see real talent, u unique. u crawb up, crawb up

Posted by taurus | June 25, 2009 1:31 AM

if she had so much 'talent' she wouldnt need to use rihanna's name!!! neva said she couldnt talk about the issue of domestic violence. but because of the hype thats surrounding rihanna and chris she's using that.. but it will only get her so far.
wonder how her next single will do

Posted by Ms.D | July 1, 2009 5:33 PM

taurus, you can't read or what?, look around you listen and read, lots of artist some way some how use an issue as an example so what they want to put across to the people,,unfortunately this is the case where Tiana's song came out during the time of this incident,as i said if this young lady was telling the men to beat the women you would love that ,Micheal J ackson is dead suppose a song come out saying how much he is missed would you say someone is captilising?or would you think some one is expressing oneself in whatever means in this case a song, taurus ,stop been a hater, tiana ago mek with or without your support, hater go siddung. leave the young lady mek she prosper, and stop beat woman ,thats why it bun yu.hater tiana a god bless , dont worry about her, you go Tiana.

see u video girl, do u thing, i like this u start out great, keep it up bless sista.

Posted by missT | August 28, 2009 4:37 PM

honestly i like the fact that she made a song about domestic violence... but.. using rihanna's name in the song is demeaning and disrespectful. she didnt need to put the line 'no man can box me like rihanna'. what if it had happened to her sister. would she have put no man can box me likke my sister?? no. rihanna is not just a 'celeb'.she's a normal human being that just happened to be involved in a domestic violence situation. mentioning her name in the song not only looks like she's making fun of her but it also looks like she wanted some controversy for publicity.

Posted by lady | August 29, 2009 11:00 PM

U av a big problem ,is which world u live in ? look good around u and listen, there are so many songs around where artist refer to something or someone in there song as an example,if she was singing about sex ,lies cheating or condoning abuse i bet u would not have a problem, yes !rihanna is a normal human being and all tiana is saying that if a man did that to her she would defend herself in such a way that the man would have to go to the doctor.obviously tiana is angry about what chris brown did and is sending a message to him. you sound like a hater ,people like you only motivates people like tiana to keep doing what she's doing,at least you're listening to tiana's song ,keep listening and FYI every artist gets publicity whether the mention someones name or not, that's what been a public figure is about.Wake up!ur still sleeping...

Posted by lady | September 5, 2009 12:17 PM

another big tune,,,,,,, gwaan gal hey hey!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to di worl!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love it.

Posted by missT. | December 16, 2009 7:40 PM

lol.i actually bookmarked this page just to come back and see what a*sness people say.
i understand u being proud that she "made it" or whatever..but dont lie. lets say YOUR name is rihanna and someone puts out a song basically saying you're a dumba*s cause u got beat wont U feel hurt?? putting myself in rihanna's shoes i would.. especially coming from another caribbean woman.but hey..thats just my opinion.and i have a right to express myself.
