Spice, Kiprich, Konshens & Laden to fulfill big North American Engagements

The doors to the "Rompin' Shop" will be opened -temporarily - in the US Northeast soon as "Rompin Shop" queen, Spice, fresh off her Award winning run will headline the Next Generation Dancehall Vibes - Part One which happens at West Indian Social Club in Hartford, Connecticut on Saturday May 02. The tour will actually begin in Boston, Massachusetts, at the Prince Hall, on Friday, May 01, and will wind up in Washington DC at the Crossroads Night Club on Sunday May 03. Word of the series is already spreading thick and fast especially in Connecticut where a massive promotional blitz is currently underway.

Kiprich, who has emerged as "The Clash Captain" having come out victorious at both Sting 08 and Follow Di Arrow will also be bringing a "full clip" of hit tunes for the Connecticut faithful.

The show will also feature Best New Artist (2008), Konshens, for whom anticipation is very high and not to be outdone….Big Ship camper Laden is putting his Rising Stars experience to good use and is generating tremendous buzz on the strength of his positive smash hit, "Time To Shine". He too, will be looking to increase his fan base on this trek.

Show co-promoter for the Connecticut leg Ardie 'Cuban' Wallace said the event was crafted to meet the demands of music fans in the Boston/New York/New Jersey/Philly/Connecticut and Washington DC areas. He said, "The artistes on the lineup represent the best of dancehall right now, and they are the ones that people have been calling for, so we're happy to oblige. I’m overwhelmed by the response to this package so far. We’re all looking forward to some really great performances.

Meanwhile, Spice speaking on behalf of the other artistes said, "we are all looking forward to these shows, to satisfy our loyal fans and to make new ones as well".

She further stated that "initially, this was planned to be one big show in Connecticut, but as soon as the word got out, additional stops were being added, which confirms the growing demand for myself and the other artistes. She said, "Were it not for previous commitments, we could have extended this tour to include quite a few more dates also".

Opening acts for the Connecticut leg Blaq Capon, 860 and Aladon stated, "we're all very excited to be working alongside such a stellar line-up of top dance hall stars".

Patrons at the West Indian Social Club will also enjoy musical juggling provided by Black Hustler, Black Rhino and One Umbrella Sounds.

Top radio jock Richie B (HOT 102 FM, Ja.) will take the trip to guide the proceedings as emcee.
