Producers: Ward 21
There is a constant rivalry among Jamaican female dancehall artists to gain and maintain the spotlight. Lady Saw has for many years, been the forerunner and the most dominant and successful of all, but for a long time there was a void that needed to be fill, there was no new artist that showed the potential and the desire to fill the shoes of Lady Saw. Tifa is here to "Spell It Out" and fill that void.
Upcoming dancehall artist Tifa is without a doubt one of the most promising female acts on the dancehall scene. Over the last, few years she has been coming with a slew of popular songs like 'Bottom of Di Barrel' and 'Crawny Gyal' that have been particularly popular among her expanding fan base. With her latest effort 'Spell It Out', she is proving to the public that she can and will maintain the momentum that she started with.
Tifa is a versatile artist and 'Spell It Out' definitely shows off some of her capabilities by switching to a much more complex method of delivery, which she executes seamlessly. Her lyrics, clarity and attitude are just what the dancehall fraternity expects from a hardcore female entertainer. If she continues with the trend that she has set, the crown for ‘the queen of the dancehall' will be within her reach.
