So Special video continues positive trend - MTV & VH1

mavado-movado-mtvu-so-special-reggae-dancehall.jpgWhile Dancehall is under immense pressure at home, it seems the rest of the world, well at least America for now, continues to embrace our music - edited or not. Mavado's video for his (edited) Billboard smash So Special will be a Freshman pick on MTVU the week of 16th - 20th of February (next week.) This is a fan voting-driven opportunity: the video with the most votes automatically gets added to MTVU rotation the following week, so we are asking everybody to support our music in these troubled times and get voting...

Mavado's clip for “So Special” has also been added to Vh1 Soul this week for Island Soul rotation, about 6 - 9 spins weekly. Starts next week.

The following list is MTVU's lineup for the next installment of their new artists show The Freshmen. The show spotlights emerging artists on air and online, with the chance for one of the videos to get an automatic adds into rotation on the channel the following week. Fans can vote on these videos online, starting the Monday morning of the pertaining week, and votes will commence at the end of the week on Friday at noon and then be tabulated. Please feel free to spread the word and get fans to vote on our video! Also, feel free to pull the clips from our site and place the MTVU version on your pages and social networking sites. Thank you kindly in advance.
