pamputtae_dancehall_draft_pick.bmpRecord executive/producer Johnny Wonder is back in Jamaica, armed with a camera by his side, ready to shoot the next volume of his "Dancehall Draft Picks" DVD series.

The critically acclaimed Volume 1 showcased the next batch of Dancehall artists from Kingston, Jamaica, who he had earmarked as the new standard bearers for the genre.

That DVD, which moved over 10,000 copies worldwide, featured artists such as Busy Signal, Mavado, Aidonia, Tony Matterhorn and many others.

Dancehall Draft Picks gives viewers a unique inside look into the world of Dancehall and Reggae in Jamaica, with never seen before footage as Johnny follows these up and coming artists as they navigate through the dancehalls and studios of Jamaica.

With over 20 years in the dancehall business, Johnny brings the insider's perspective on Dancehall's underground with personal artist and producer interviews and recent performance clips from the toughest stage shows and in-studio shots. As with Volume 1 there will also be a video segment showcasing clips from the latest videos from the artists.

2009's Dancehall Draft Picks include Serani, Bugle, Pamputtae, Stephen "Da Genius" McGregor, Taurus Riley, Etana, Queen Ifrica, Konshens, Chino, Mad Ras and many more. Mavado, Bounty Killer and other established artists also make appearances, giving their opinions on the current state of Dancehall and the new recruits.

The full length documentary captures raw behind-the-scenes footage on each of these breaking artists, as well as taking a unique look into cutting edge Dancehall culture.
