Why is she trying so hard to be the next Lauren Hill. I saw her performed in Cali. She was trying to be Lauren from the dressing to the performing. Now here again the hair style. Give us a break and be you.

All you haters clearly have nothing better to do.

I've never seen Lauren Hill wearing chiney bumps but on another level Cherine Anderson and Lauryn Hill are two completely different artist.

From music to dress to personality to nationality

They are both intelligent and beautiful black women who make me proud to be a dark skin sister

They called Jill Scott, India Arie, Alicia Keys, Amy Whinehouse, Floetry and the lists go on " the next lauryn hill "

I guess because the young lady doing something positive it hard to give her credit . Cherine is one of the MOST talented artist out right now

get a life ya'll

Cindy and Kelly it's clear that ya'll are both the same person lol

Helloooooo, I have seen Lauren in the early days before growing her dreads with Chiney bumps. Why is it that one cannot express themselves on these forums. Gosh.

Cherine does at times have similarities of Lauren. Give ppl a break on these forums they are here to express themselves. Cha!

In this business when one put themselves out there they are going to have lovers and haters so what that is life. Look at Beyonce she is loved and hated at the same time.

Cindy, Kelly and Maxine one love.

come on people, out with the negativity. she is a young artist and she looks amazing, congratulations on your successes Cherine. Lauryn Hill hasnt been out for how many years? And how many people did Lauryn herself look to for reference and inspiration on everything from music to aesthetic? Isnt this how this business work? its really sad that we feel the need to break each other down in this way. Lauryn is my all time favorite artist, Cherine, continue your stride and make your music, and I am happy to be able to experience your work.
