Chris Brown & Elephant Man collaboration - "This tune a go dun the place"


18 years-old Pop and R&B singer Chris Brown, is the latest in a slew of international acts to have combined their talents with that of dancehall's Energy God, Elephant Man.

Brown, who is now riding high with the song 'With You', teamed up with Elephant on the single, Girl Tonight. Still on pre-release, all indications are that the song will be another hit for Elephant Man, who is definitely no stranger to number one songs.

"This is a really nice tune and already it is getting a lot of love," Elephant Man declared. "Chris Brown is a good yute and working with him was just magic he understands and respects dancehall music and he is talented," Elephant revealed.

The soon-to-be-released single is a club-friendly offering which is sure to keep the massive on the dance floor. "This tune a go dun the place for sure," Elephant Man promised.

Known for his on-stage antics and his colourful hair, Elephant Man, affectionately called 'Elle', signed an album deal with Sean 'Puffy' Coombs' Bad Boy Records in 2006, through his label VP Records. The VP/Bad Boy deal should see the release of an album, which has already been completed, and which boasts an enviable line-up of other international acts in combination with the deejay. The album is entitled Let's Get Physical and has a tentative release date of April 29.

Emphasizing that Girl Tonight will be his international single, Elle revealed that he is working on tunes that will keep him blazing "a yard". One such song is the single entitled Gully Creeper, which has started to build a "niceness" vibes in the dancehall.

"Everybody just loves Gully Creeper," an enthusiastic Elephant Man almost shouted, adding that the video will be "just as wicked as the song".

Elephant Man recently completed shooting the video for Gully Creeper and it should have its premiere in the next couple of weeks.

"We a tek the ting serious. The mission is to just take the music and the dancing to another level and mek the people dem put down the gun and the killing and keep everybody happy and dancing," Elephant Man declared.
